Course Participation & Completion Policy
Applies To: All Members accessing asynchronous or self-paced training through the DPS Learning Management System (LMS)
I. Policy Statement
Dynamic Processes & Systems (DPS) ensures that all learners are informed of participation standards, completion requirements, learner responsibilities, and applicable policies prior to engaging in any asynchronous or self-paced training activity
This policy governs eligibility for Certificates of Completion and establishes documented standards for verification.
II. Applicability
This policy applies to:
All DPS Members enrolled in LMS-based training
All asynchronous or self-paced learning modules
Any course in which a Certificate of Completion may be issued
III. Completion Requirements
To be eligible for a Certificate of Completion (if applicable), learners must:
1. Complete all required modules and instructional activities
2. Successfully complete required assessments
3. Meet stated performance criteria
4. Submit required evaluations, where applicable
Access to course materials does not constitute successful completion.
Completion is verified through documented LMS records prior to issuance of any Certificate of Completion.
IV. Verification of Completion
DPS verifies completion through:
LMS participation tracking
Assessment records
Documented performance criteria
Evaluation submission records (if applicable)
Certificates are issued only after completion requirements have been confirmed.
V. Professional Conduct & Non-Discrimination
DPS maintains a professional, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
Discrimination of any kind is not permitted. All learners are expected to engage professionally and respectfully in all course-related activities.
VI. Instructor Disclosure
If an instructor has any financial, ownership, or proprietary interest in products, services, tools, or materials referenced in a course, such interests are disclosed at the beginning of the learning event.
VII. Intellectual Property Protection
All course materials, presentations, recordings, manuals, and digital resources are the intellectual property of DPS or are used with proper authorization.
Materials may not be copied, recorded, redistributed, modified, or reused without written permission.
Unauthorized use may result in removal from the program and denial of certification.
VIII. Privacy & Record Maintenance
Learner participation and completion data are securely recorded within the LMS.
Training records are maintained in accordance with DPS recordkeeping policies and may be used to verify successful completion.

By enrolling in and accessing course materials, learners confirm that they have reviewed and agree to this Course Participation & Completion Policy and understand that completion requirements must be met to receive a Certificate of Completion.
